Sugar Highs and Princess Parties
So, it just so happens to be one of the most important nights in matrimonial history - the night before Kate and William's royal wedding. To celebrate, the girls and I have had plenty of shenanigans.
First, at the beginning the year, we get these things called dining dollars. It's money we can use on food and things of that nature in the little convenience stores about campus. Problem is, at the end of the year the money you don't use disappears. So you definitely want to use them, otherwise you waste lots of money. I had $153 left, so clearly I had to spend it. And there was NO way I was going to spend it on my own, so the girls and I made a trip to the store prior to our celebration of the royal wedding. We spent $134 of my dining dollars, and about $40 of another girl's. Needless to say, we got a lot of crap. I've been on a 3 hour sugar high. It's great.
So. Now we're having an all-nighter. Said all-nighter consists of, obviously, junk food, and princess movies. Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, and now Anastasia. And throwing food. And avoiding studying. Because although it's dead week, it's definitely not time to be studying. We have a wedding to focus on here people!
The Royal Wedding is easily one of the most major historical unities that will take place in our lives. Honor it, enjoy it, and appreciate what you're experiencing. It may seem like just some silly girl craze, but there's definitely more to it than that. Embrace your inner child, unleash the princess, and watch a normal, everyday girl live out your childhood dream! Sugar buzz is running a little low. Better go revamp!
Happy wedding! :)
